Can you do ocean floor mapping?

Technically, yes. Though our expertise is with smaller bodies of water, such as lakes, rivers, reservoirs, and ponds.

How accurate is your data?

Because we use SONAR (not laser scanning) for underwater mapping, this type of surveying is less precise. Generally, this type of surveying has a point density of 10–20pts/m2.

Additionally, there are some circumstances that can impact absolute accuracy  – e.g., muddy waterbeds, lots of vegetation.
